The task is to learn how to automatically generate C code from Simulink models and to verify the generated code on the PC and on the uC target.

2. Generic Profiling Tool for Embedded Systems
Research on how an embedded profiling tool (that calculates the CPU load of a system) should be implemented

3. Microcontroller application: Software platform for core resource consumption measurements
Develop a Software project / product which is controller independent (so a comparison can be done between different controllers) for measuring the RAM, ROM and CPU load

4. Automotive Embedded Software Autocoding with Application in RF Transmitters
Analyze of autocoding and automatic testing capabilities with Statemate on RF Transmitter application

5. Multiple function generator
Design and implementation of a multiple function generator, capable of providing sinus, square wave and custom waveform

6. Mechanical concepts for improving EMC in automotive industry
Improving mechanical design for ECUs in order to reduce the EMI in the car

7. Hydraulic pressure control system
Design, realize and test a PCB board which controls the pressure inside a hydraulic system

8. 100W battery inverter (12Vdc to 230Vac)
Design, realize and test a PCB board which generates a sinusoidal supplying voltage

9. DC motor control system
Design, realize and test a PCB board which controls the DC motor direction and rotation speed

10. 3 phase AC motor control system
Design, realize and test a PCB board which generates the control signals for the 3 phase motor

11. True sine-wave 3 phase inverter
Design, realize and test a PCB board which generates a 3 phase sinusoidal system for control an AC motor

12. Client for measurement equipment
A lot of external measurement equipment is used in a Hardware department. You have to write an interface (DLL) for the controlling of these devices.

13. Picture generator for monitor systems
VHDL programming of an existing PCB equipped with a 128 macro cell Lattice-CPLD. This box is used for generating picture signals. The task is to program a flexible routine for each kind of display signal and special display contents.

14. I/O Gen Tool
I/O Generation Tool for MPC55xx platform

15. PC based Automatic Test Tool development for Software Testing in Automotive Systems
Development of drivers for relays activation and oscilloscope (RS232 based); Convert test cases from test specifications to be used for automatic testing; Perform automatic validation of a specific SW Functionality

16. Software security methods: code obfuscation
Develop and /or adapt code obfuscation methods for Embedded Software applications
