Our roads are a challenging environment for everyone who uses them, and further progress on automotive safety is essential in order to minimize or avoid accident damage. Airbag have become increasingly common over the last 20 years and now are present in every compact car. The reasons are clear: they help to prevent serious injury and can be fitted in multiple locations as driver passenger, head or side airbags. We aim to realize concepts, together with the automotive industry, that help maximize protection for occupants, pedestrians, and all other road users. For this reason an open mind for what's new is just as important for us as experience, focused research and development. That's why we are looking for dynamic and motivated people for increasing our Algorithm Development and Application team in Timisoara.
As an application engineer you will be trained in the area of crash algorithm development and application. Based on this training your responsibilities will be to:
- use specific algorithms and tools to calibrate airbag systems for various vehicle platforms;
- maintain a close collaboration with various car manufacturers in order to gather requirements and provide solutions;
- contribute to the development of the next generation algorithms for airbag systems;
- participate at trainings, workshops and knowledge sharing process, together with our team in order to improve work results;
