Senior Software Developer – Iasi

 Minimum four years of professional experience in J2SE/J2EE development
 Excellent web application design skills
 Excellent knowledge of J2EE, SQL, JDBC
 Experience using JSF, Spring, Hibernate
 Proficient with Glassfish, IntelliJ Idea, Team City, Maven, Gradle, Selenium
 Excellent problem solving abilities and detail orientation
 Superior oral and written communication skills
 Preferred Degrees - BE/BTech.

As a Senior Software Developer for Synygy, you will report to a Software Development Manager and work in the Iasi office with members of the Synygy Software Development groups in US and India to design, develop, enhance, and maintain Synygy’s software products. Using your skills in creating applications built on the J2EE architecture, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining software components.

Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include:
 Work with Software Development Leads and Software Development Managers on the overall design, development, implementation and testing of assigned features and products within a release schedule
 Work with product management and functional design team members to determine software requirements for features worked upon
 Work with database group and architects on data models, proof of concepts and technical designs as required by a feature.
 Generate technical documentation as well as unit and functional tests for owned modules and features
 Assist with application maintenance by monitoring and correcting software defects
 Help leads and managers with project planning activities by proactively providing and updating implementation and testing estimates
 Ensure code implementation is optimal and compliant in areas of object-oriented design, testing, and error-handling
 Work with other Senior Software Developers to share best practices.
