CANDIDATUL IDEAL:

Essential skills and knowledge
• Proven experience in reservoir data analysis, planning of new well/sidetrack location, making forecast for a new well productivity, integrating production, log, PVT (pressure-volume-temperature) and core data essential,
• Experience in planning different types of workovers: WSO (water shut-off), BHT (bottom-hole treatment), sidetracks, etc.
• Experience in artificial lift: design, optimization, monitoring.
• Experience in classical reservoir engineering evaluation techniques including material balance and pressure transient analysis.
• Good knowledge of depletion planning principles,
• Knowledge and experience of different EOR (enhanced oil recovery)methods is desirable,
• Experience in developing reservoirs with dual porosity is desirable,
• Experience in developing unconventional reservoirs is desirable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills,
• Partnership and team working skills,
• Awareness of business drivers,
• A strong willingness to learn and think laterally
Essential experience and job requirements
• A good grounding in reservoir engineering is required along with any of the broader skills,
• Strong communications skills, including the ability to interact effectively with a broad range of technical specialists and partners are necessary,
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team (petrophysicists, geophysicists, geologists and drilling engineers),
• Ability to communicate results and interpretations to management,
• Relevant experience in oil/gas industry,
• A good understanding of the principles of field development planning, depletion planning and workovers


RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

We are looking for Senior Production/Petroleum Engineer (for development field) to join a newly formed head-office subsurface team to play a key role in the maximisation of value from their subsurface assets. Applicants are invited with a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience, excellent reservoir dynamic characterization skills, reservoir monitoring, operating and optimization experience and the desire to join a well known International Company on the threshold of significant exciting expansion.
Job Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain subsurface database
• Analysis of surveillance and other data, QA/QC - quality assessment/quality control, to be included as input data into static/dynamic models
• Generation of reservoir management strategies
• Perform artificial lift, well, and pad/drill site optimization
• Well test design, supervision and interpretation.
• Design, monitoring and interpretation of interference tests.
• Ability to select, to make design for different types of workovers, including fracs, chemical BHT, water shut-off technologies. To control contractors for these types of activities. To make efficiency evaluation after workovers activities.
• Define together with geologist the target intervals for core sampling, DST, MDT (drill stem test, modular formation dynamic tester)
• Understanding of rock properties from wireline logs and core analyses.
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively within multidisciplinary teams of other professionals in all aspects of field development, reservoir characterization and reservoir monitoring.
• Perform well location assessment, wellbore trajectory planning for highly deviated and horizontal wells, develop subsurface well prognosis estimates.
• Determine production allocation process
• Determine production forecasts based on decline analysis or dynamic simulation.
• Prepare Field Development Plans.
• Lead the process of medium-long term production forecasting for the field
• Develop surveillance strategies for relevant field sectors and wells
• Evaluate individual well performance to support recommendations for changes in depletion strategy
• Plan, initiate, direct and carry out all necessary reservoir studies
• Coordinate working activities of auditors, consultants, sientific centers, labs, etc.
