Senior Java Developer for largest Swiss Investment Bank project

This project exists to support UBS’s Interest Rate and Credit Business groups in delivering ambitious revenue targets and business change in 2011 and beyond. The technology deliveries will include re-engineering our secondary trading platform for structured notes and enhancing our front to back processing platform – from sales to trade capture to settlement. These deliveries include a mix of new components together with some enhancements to existing applications

Requirements:
The key responsibilities of this role are :
• Hands on development of new applications & components, together with re-factoring & adding new functionality to existing systems.
• Development of unit and integration tests.
• Work with the user community (including Traders, Operations and IT Business Analysts) to define, demonstrate and refine new functionality.
• Make a strong contribution to the design of the system.
• Help to define and improve development processes.
• Work with the QA and Support teams to deliver excellent service to our business user community.
