Experience & Qualifications Required:
• 3-4+ years’ software testing with QA team leading experience
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated knowledge
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Understanding of browser compatibility issues
• Proficiency in test case generation techniques: equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis etc
• Experience of different software development methods

Position Purpose:
We are looking for a dedicated, self motivated, highly skilled Quality Assurance professional to join our team of engineers building high-end, highly scalable Web applications.
Successful candidates will have a solid Quality Assurance background, with proven technical and problem solving skills.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:
• Lead, inspire and motivate a team of Functional QA engineers
• Manage QA engineers
• Manage the review of product requirements within your team and provide intuitive feedback to product managers and change originators
• Manage the production of test preparation and test execution estimates
• Working with the project manager, define test schedules, based on estimates produced by your team
• Ensure the application of proven Quality Assurance techniques
• Develop and maintain test cases, ensuring optimal test suite size for desired coverage
• Develop test plans that adhere to the company’s Quality Assurance Approach
• Define test entry, test suspension, test resumption and test exit criteria
• Execute manual test cases
• Proficiency in the following testing types: Static, Unit, Integration, System, User Acceptance, Regression and Maintenance
• Manage the acceptance testing process for software deliverables
• Manage QA activities during the deployment of software changes
• Maintain regression test pack following software releases
• Document software defects clearly and unambiguously and track these defects through the test lifecycle, until they are resolved or deferred to a later project
• Isolate conditions for recreating problems found in testing and offer assistance with problem resolution through core product knowledge
• Identify opportunities to increase or reduce release scope, in order to ensure projects remain on track for target completion dates
• Assess product usability and reliability and provide feedback and recommendations for improvements to developers and product managers
• Participate in multiple concurrent projects, offering Quality Assurance services across a number of projects
