CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Essential:
• 2+ years (4+ for Senior) commercial development experience (whole life-cycle) using Java/J2EE technologies and developing Object-Oriented commercial solutions.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred or equivalent.
Desirable:
• Source code control (SourceSafe, CVS, Perforce …)
• Defect tracking systems (PVCS, TestTrack … )
• Good understanding of distributed systems – JMS, RMI, WS*
• Use of threading and concurrency (like java.util.concurrent in Java 5 )
• Spring/Hibernate
• Agile Development with SCRUM

• Languages and Packages: J2EE (including Java 1.3+, JSP 1.2+, Servlets 2.3+, EJB 2.0, JDBC 2.0+ JMS 1.1+, Tag Libraries, JAAS), Jakarta Struts, XML, Web Services, SQL, UML, Ant
• Web/Application Servers: JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, Weblogic
• Operating Systems: Windows 2000/XP, UNIX (Solaris), Linux
• Database Systems: Oracle 8i+
• Understanding of and experience with application architectures (client/server, web, database)

• Knowledge of common enterprise design patterns and implementation.
• Understanding of the entire software design, development and deployment lifecycle.
