Project Manager

• Experience in developing specifications for the design and fabrication of steel structures
• Auto CAD user
• Thorough understanding of industry codes.
• Thorough understanding of industrial drafting standards and symbols
• Strong computer skills
• Degree in Engineering
• Fluency in English ( written and spoken)
• Process oriented, able to prioritize, organize, and work on multiple projects

• Design and develop the projects according to specifications
• Create distinctive steel constructions such as steel trusses sections, pillars and secondary steel such as stairs, etc. by using Auto CAD and other software
• Actively manage steel construction projects, utilizing project management techniques, to ensure milestones are met and goals are achieved while also utilizing the technical abilities to be an active player in the project team
• Play a supporting role to customer issues, production issues, offer improvements and/or lower cost alternatives as applicable
• Plan and design project schedules and processes
• Maintain ongoing quality improvement efforts
• Provide leadership and technical support to project team members
• Ensure that appropriate quotes are offered, that cost estimates are within reasonable tolerance, that scope of supply and schedules are adequately defined, that added costs are tracked, that it is properly designed, and that the engineering aspects of project schedules are maintained
• Make recommendations for modernization and technological improvement as needed.
• Oversee the review, creation, and maintenance of processes, and procedures
• Review design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements and related specifications
• Conduct on floor inspections together with the head of QA/QC to ensure that construction is being fabricated and assembled as ordered and in compliance with standards, drawings, and specifications.
• Together with the head of production, review feedback from customers. Use such feedback to further develop and improve the standards and practices. Also oversee the review of fabrication and assembly hours and material costs to ensure best practices are utilized in estimating and production efforts.

It is located in the North-West of Romania in the Satu Mare county.
