Extract Transform and Load Developer (cod ETL)

• University diploma in IT related field.
• More than 5 years experience in data warehouse development
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to design and implement medium to large projects using Data Integrator.
• Clear understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts and best practices.
• Very strong experience with BO Data Integrator for ETL development
• Experience with BO 6.x, including universe and report design and maintenance.
• Very strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing SQL and stored procedures code.
• Experience with data warehouse lifecycles and a strong understanding of the role of methodology / frameworks.
• Understanding of relational and multi-dimensional data design and development techniques.
• Experience with other reporting and analytic presentation tools and technologies such as Cognos, ProClarity, Microstrategy, PowerAnalyzer, etc, is a plus.
• SQL Server DBA experience preferred.
• Experience working in a PeopleSoft environment preferred.
• Experience with Analysis Services and Reporting Services is a plus.
• Experience working as or with a business analyst is a plus.
• Experience with Six Sigma and process improvement a plus.
• Good knowledge of English and/or French.
• Knowledge of gaming industry is a plus.

• Meet the expectations of business users by designing, developing and maintaining ETL jobs and related data warehouse models/objects/systems.
• Participate in architectural and model decisions during the design and build phases of new projects.
• Work closely with application developers and administrators to streamline data flows between internal/external systems and the data warehouse.
• Work directly with end users to understand, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Cross-train other team members on ETL and data warehousing best practices.
• Participate in Business Objects (BO) universe and report design & development.
• Ensure formal documentation is produced for all development projects.
• Communicate effectively with end users, Data Warehouse Developers and Business Intelligence Project Managers and Analysts.
