Business Objects Administrator (SQL)

• University diploma in IT related field or proven experience in the BI domain.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server including writing SQL and stored procedures code.
• Experience with Business Objects XI is a big advantage.
• Clear understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts and best practices.
• Experience with data warehouse lifecycles and a strong understanding of the role of methodology / frameworks is an advantage
• Understanding of relational and multi-dimensional data design and development techniques.
• Experience with Analysis Services and Reporting Services is a plus.
• Experience with other reporting and analytic presentation tools and technologies such as Hyperion Essbase, Cognos, ProClarity, Microstrategy, PowerAnalyzer is a plus.
• Good knowledge of English and/or French.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

The IT Department of Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full-time BI Developer specialized in Business Objects XI administration and development.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in administering the Business Objects XI reporting servers for the Corporate Datawarehouse
• Be actively involved in the administration of the users security rights (Active Directory, Business Objects XI)
• Meet the expectations of business users by designing, developing and maintaining ETL jobs and related data warehouse models/objects/systems.
• Participate in architectural and model decisions during the design and build phases of new projects.
• Work closely with application developers and administrators to streamline data flows between internal/external systems and the data warehouse.
• Participate in Business Objects (BO) universes and report design & development.
• Ensure that formal documentation is produced for all development projects.
• Communicate effectively with Business Intelligence Project Managers and Analysts.
