MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Role – Mechanical Engineer – responsible for:

• Read customer requirements and transform them into a mechanical design
• Find potential risks and propose a mitigation plan
• Prepare the mechanical specification for tenders
• Estimate engineering resource needs, schedule, weight and cost for the tender
• Verify that proposed layout fits the customer plant by checking drawings and visit the site
• Be the interface to other disciplines to ensure structured and correct flow of information
• Resource planning, scheduling and progress relating to mechanical engineering
• Ensure mechanical requirements are fulfilled and standards and codes are followed
• Check the output from the mechanical team, including externals
• Ensure that the organization`s process is followed and all deliverables are made in time

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
•3+ experience on a similar position in a Power Plant

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

• Very good knowledge and skills of CATIA, CAD, AUTOCAD, 2D and 3D software
• Very good PC skills [WINDOWS, MS OFFICE]
• Teamplayer, well organized and problem solving orientated person
• Advanced communication skills in English [ both written and spoken ]
