Position Summary:

This is a position that forms part of a team that is responsible for the analysis, design, development and implementation of IP-based technologies (web, mobile devices, VoIP, network) that deliver applications and knowledge resources across the Internet. The position requires a developer who works with code and plug-in code .


Requirements: good skills in PHP, JavaScript, Ajax, OOP, Smarty, SQL

Advantages in order of their importance : Zend framework, Smarty, OOP Design capabilities,

Requirement Analysis knowledge, Mobile devices(SyncML), IMAP, Networking , Linux administration, Quality Management knowledge
Special Advantage is the capability to create Graphical and Ergonomy designs.


Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related discipline)
Language: Fluent in English

Must be able to communicate effectively in a diverse, dynamic, fast-paced environment. Must be self-motivated, adaptable and capable of independently handling a high and diverse workload. A strong sense of ownership and urgency to deliver projects/tasks in a timely fashion.
High level of creativity, attention to detail and an “eye” for layouts, excellent documentation skills and organizational skills, demonstrative passion for quality assurance & learning, combined with a strong dedication to get the job done right the first time. Knows how to work in a productive and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

Design and Programming new features & enhancements using PHP, Zend Framework, Smarty, OOP, JavaScript, Ajax, Apache, Postgres, MySQL, VBScript, Java, C#, C++, CSS, DHTML, HTML, MDAC (ADO/ DAO), XML, XSLT, DHTML and HTML
Developing applications and connector objects for use with plug-in modules between, for example, mobile devices and the core products (SyncML, Imap, VoIP, e-mails, back office, network).
Designing dynamic & intuitive graphical user interfaces. Conducting advanced research to identify product/service innovations. This person will be responsible for developing modular solutions that work in and of themselves, but contribute toward solving a larger issue.
