WEB DESIGNER

We are looking for motivated and result-oriented individuals to join our Marketing team.

Main responsibilities

- Design and development of Internet and intranet sites that accurately reflect organization’s goals, objectives and identity
- Complete and comprehensive understanding of web projects in e-commerce area (concept, site map, design, implementation, backend connections, database communication, SEO optimization, web advertising, tracking and monitoring)
- Fast, coherent and accurate web design development

Requested Knowledge

- Strong web layout and design skills
- Extensive experience with publishing/imaging applications (Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Image Ready)
- In-depth knowledge of current web markup or scripting languages such us: HTML (hand coding), XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of PHP & MySQL
- Experience with managing web site content
- Expertise in current Internet standards, including web browsers and browser specifications
- Understanding of web design common issues (cross-browser compatibility, colors and quick loading of images, etc.)
- Familiar with search engine optimization (SEO) and web marketing techniques
- Basic knowledge of Macromedia Flash is a plus

Experience & educational background

- Minimum 2 years in similar position or area of expertise
- Minimum high school
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
