Corporate Counsel

• University degree in Law, master degree will be an advantage
• Extensive knowledge of legal norms & regulations;
• Relevant experience in the following fields of law: Civil (including civil procedure), Commercial Law, Labor Law, Intellectual property.
• Relevant experience in a similar position with a multinational company, international exposure will be an advantage;
• Fluent English, German will be an advantage

• Responsible for coordination of legal activities of cross divisional subsidiaries of METRO
• Drafts specific legal contracts/ memorandums/ letters of intent as well as any other documents requested,
• Checks clauses of submitted contracts;
• Checks the protocols issued by state authorities, gives resolutions and drafts claims related to these;
• Represents the company in front of Romanian Courts of Law: civil, commercial, labor
• Participates in negotiations, conciliations, meetings
• Provides legal advice and law interpretation, upon request, to cross divisional subsidiaries of METRO
