DATABASE & SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

You will demonstrate an outstanding ability to deliver results through both your own proffesional skill and commitment, and your capacity to provide innovative solutions for business processes. Your excellent databases/applications management capability will be combined with good organisational and team-orientation skills.
* Senior level Microsoft SQL Server database administration and applications management in a large and complex organisation;
* Work experience with Windows 2000/2003 servers, understanding of large IT applications and infrastructure
* Demonstrated willingness and ability to work in a fast-mouving, dynamic, team-oriented environement;
* Excellent pro-active problem solving skills;
* Able to prioritize tasks and adapt to change;

1.Deployement and maintenance of complex database, improuving integrity and system performance;
2 Monitor database resources regularly and perform ongoing systems and databases problems trobleshooting, back-up and recovery;
3. Monitor the databases functionality and assure their 24/7 availability
4. Train support and offer technical advice and consultancy to users
5. Bring to ussers attention all software changes and updates;
6. Ensure optimal use of systems and databases to achieve maximum business benefit;
7. Ensure reliable IT services; quickly inform and collaborate with the direct-line manager in order to resolve unexpected technical matters/problems;
