The role:
The core tasks of the Oracle EBS specialist are, to support operations on Oracle e-Business Suite (version 11.03), analysis of business processes, definition of improvements, design of system setup and description of the business benefits. In this role you are based in our 300 staff Geesink Norba Group factory (Medias Industries) located in Medias, Romania. In this role you support our international locations in, but not limited to, Romania, UK, Sweden and The Netherlands, as well as other international locations.

The IT team provides services to 10 business units with 20 locations in 10 countries. It is an international team, with staff based in various locations around Europe and it is a new and fast expanding team. RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Job tasks and responsibilities:
Production Support: Day-to-day support for production processing. Support end users with questions on Oracle EBS and resolve issues (for ex-ample on incomplete transactions. Develop the end user process and system knowledge and understanding (to reduce the amount of incidents). Maintain overall process knowledge of Oracle EBS in particular. Timely completion of mandated changes.
System setup APPS: Perform relevant setup in the test system. Perform analysis. Documentation of the setup. Testing.
Business Analysis: Perform process review and analysis. Meet with internal and external customers to understand the business process and make recommendations. Provide alternative solutions to business issues. Perform estimate of customer requested change. Quantify the business benefits. Prepare the business case to obtain approval for the project / change.
Project Management: Organize and manage projects. Co-ordinate members on a project. Report to the management on the progress of projects. Report on project status. Ensure project scope changes are managed and expectations are met.
IS Process Development: Development of work processes, instructions and standards. Adhere to standards.
Perform other tasks within the IT/ IS department.
Profile of the ideal candidate:
MBO (+) / HBO level of education
Excellent verbal skills, as well as in writing
Excellent understanding of the English language
Analytical
Broad business knowledge
Ability to drive change (People, process and technology);
Able to communicate with colleagues of all levels within the organization
Excellent knowledge of a number of modules within Oracle Applications / Oracle
e-Business Suite
Project management methodology
Minimum 5 years experience with Oracle e-Business Suite, preferably version 11.0.3.
