Finance Manager

Profile of the ideal candidate:
• University degree in Finance
• 5 years or more financial experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong background controlling and preferably accounting
• Good understanding of Oracle
• Proven experience in leading and developing a team
• Very good English is a must
• A mentality to built and develop the department; no 9-5 attitude

Purpose of the job:
In this position you are finally responsible for all accounting and controlling activities of the plant by leading a team of four persons. You are sparring partner for senior management and you are responsible for developing the department.
• Responsible for all financial management, accounting and controlling
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and yearly closings
• Responsible for periodical reporting; rolling forecast, budget, cash, etc
• Develop KPI’s for all critical production activities; costs, pricing, etc
• Provide supervision to plant accounting staff and train them where needed
• Ad hoc reports and analysis

The position will be based in Medias Rumania. You report to the Corporate Finance Manager and the Plant Manager.

Medias Industries Inc, located in Medias, Romania, is part of Oshkosh Truck Corporation, a worldwide leading manufacturer of specialty trucks and truck bodies.
The manufacturing facility produces the refuse trucks of Geesink Norba Group, the Kiggen refuse containers and does pre assembly activities (e.g. boom welding) for the JLG telehandlers. At this moment more than 150 team members are working on site.
Medias is investing in this facility and therefore due to expansion we are looking for a suitable and qualified candidates.
