| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Profile of the ideal candidate:
• Education in mechanical engineering and welding
• 4 years of process improvement and welding experience
• Good English is a must
• Knowledge of mechanical design and analysis software CAD / Autocad
• Able to work with various tooling and MIG / MAG / TIG / Plasm / flex core ea.
• Working knowledge of operating tacking, welding and certification process

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Purpose of the job:
Through process improvements in all areas you reduce the rooting of the unit. This means you improve the working conditions at the line, make it safer and better. You evaluate plant tooling and welding requirements, develop new tool functions and improve as needed.
• You improve and develop line balance and station lay out
• Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel
• You maintain welding specifications and manuals according to standard
• You create work instructions and evaluate processes
• Assist in all new welding processes
• Set up BOM audits and follow up results in appropriate action taking
• Assist in welder training, evaluation and qualification
The position will be based in Medias Romania. You report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

DESCRIEREA COMPANIEI:
Medias Industries Inc, located in Medias, Romania, is part of Oshkosh Corporation / JLG, a worldwide leading manufacturer of specialty trucks and truck bodies.
The manufacturing facility produces the refuse trucks of Geesink Norba Group, the Kiggen refuse containers and does pre assembly activities (e.g. boom welding) for the JLG telehandlers. At this moment more than 300 team members are working on site.
Medias is investing in this facility and therefore due to expansion we are looking for a qualified candidates. |
