Web Application Lead Developer/Architect

Description:

The lead developer / architect will be responsible of designing the new application architecture and write the required documentation together with client's responsible and then lead the Romanian development team and ensure timelines are meet and functionality is delivered.

The application will be re-worked from scratch and the project will be split in three phases.
Phase I: Application design.
Phase II: Implementing core functionality that covers the current business needs.
Phase III: Adding functionality and extending the application in order to cover expanding business needs and add features.

In the scope of this project, the lead developer / architect will participate in the following activities:
- system analysis and design (including database);
- leading the development phase for a small team (2 people + lead developer);
- developing product core parts;
- basic development database configuring and maintenance.

Requirements:

Good .net Framework knowledge
Good level of C#.net & ASP.net with relevant experience (2+ years)
Good Oracle and / or MS SQL Server knowledge
Standard SQL language. PL/SQL is an important asset.
Web services
SOAP
Familiar with data browsing and SQL debugging using tools like Toad

Foreign languages:

- Knowledge of English: must be able discuss technical topics in English and read / write technical and functional documentations.
- Knowledge of French: would be a plus but is not mandatory.
