JAVA TEAM LEADER
Job description:
- Develop software using current J2EE standards according to the given requirements specification, using specific guidelines and methodology
- Assign, monitor and control tasks to the team members
- Provide technical assistance and know-how transfer
- Train and mentor team members on Java and J2EE technologies
- Create training plans and quiz developers to sharpen their Java skills
- Regulary report to the Project Leader about the status of the development process

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Requirements:
- BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is mandatory
- 3-5+ yrs industry experience in Java and J2EE ((EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services)
- 2+ yrs solid development experience with at least one major J2EE Application Server (BEA, Websphere, JBoss)
- Good knowledge of SQL, UML, object oriented design and design patterns
- Proficiency in Oracle, Hibernate, Struts, XML/XSL
- Good analytical skills
- Strong character and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work hard under tight schedules
- Good command of English
- Availability to travel to our company's offices in Italy
Desired skills:
- Java Developers Certification or Architects Certification
- Database development and design experience with SQL and Oracle
- Experience with automated Java build and test software (Ant, Cruise Control, JUnit)
- UNIX/Linux knowledge
- Italian conversational skills
