Programmer

• Two years of professional experience in development using J2EE, experience in a demanding environment using Application servers such as Apache Tomcat, Weblogic, HTTP
• In-depth knowledge of Java, Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns and Algorithms, J2EE, Java Beans, MySQL, Oracle, XHTML, Weblogic.
• Additional knowledge of other used technologies, such as Web Services, Enterprise Java Beans, SQL (including optimizations, transactions, stored routines), Object-Relational Mapping (ORM), TopLink, Struts, Java Script, web design, CSS, Linux
• Ability to prioritize tasks and subsystems and classify them based on business needs, both for him/her self and the development team.
• Very responsible person, self motivated, innovative, hard-working
• Good English skills
• Ability to solve problems quickly
• Proven experience in programming for mobile devices is a plus.

Main responsibilities:

• Create Design, Specifications and/or Architecture documentations for any requested application, meeting a set of requirements or use-cases.
• Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology using prescribed specifications (design documents) and is responsible for discrepancies between the implemented and designed functionality.
• Analyzes performance of programs (speed, resource consumption, performance, stress) and takes actions to correct deficiencies based on consultation with technical leads and application designers and approval of supervisors.
• Maintains and modifies programs; makes approved changes, develops detailed programming logic and implements code changes.
• Evaluates and permanently optimizes relationships between programs. Evaluates if a change will impact other applications or modules.
• Writes and maintains programming documentation. Documents programming problems and resolutions for future reference according to established procedure. Updates documentation according to feedback from superiors.
