CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Good working knowledge of at least one operating system; good programming skills using a third or fourth generation language such as SAS; excellent written and oral communication, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate with users with various technical backgrounds. Travel as business requirements dictate at management discretion |
RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Scope:
Provides SAS consulting services for customers on and off site. Develops applications for internal use; designs, develops, implements, presents, and supports application prototypes and production systems for customers. Provides input into system architecture definition, hardware specifications, project implementation, and system testing.
Major Responsibilities:
• Implements prototypes for use in sales situations and site visits.
• Develops and maintains internal applications.
• Develops, tests, and implements software applications for internal and external customers; takes direction from technical lead or project manager as assigned.
• Reviews and edits documentation for consulting projects, the Education Division and other divisions as needed.
• Provides input to project team to define scope and work effort for assigned tasks.
Education: University degree, preferably in Computer Science or quantitative field.
Experience: Two years current (within the last four years) experience programming in a third or fourth generation language, preferably in technology areas such as application development, client/server, database management systems, data warehousing, or web enablement. Public speaking experience such as presenting papers or classroom teaching preferred. Experience with SAS preferred. Specific industry-related experience may be considered in combination with the above.
