BUSINESS ANALYST SAP, Location: Cluj-Napoca (code BASAP)

Our client is the global leader in the rail equipment manufacturing and servicing industry.

Requirements:

- University degree in Business Administration with major in Accounting, Finance, Controlling and/or Information Systems Management
- in-depth knowledge of the finance core business processes and SAP FICO modules in an international environment - advantage
- advantage - knowledge of international accounting standards and best practices in financial accounting. Previous experience of Project Accounting would be an asset
- 2-3 years' relevant SAP experience, experience of 1 full cycle SAP implementation at minimum
- strong analytical, moderation and presentation skills
- ability to speak and write fluent Business English; German, French or other European languages would be a good additional asset
- willingness to travel internationally according to business needs.

Position summary
Our client has embarked on a global SAP VCM deployment. This position is based in Finance and is aimed at supporting the roll-out of the FICO (=Finance & Controlling) modules and at ensuring master data and template governance.

Key Accountabilities:

Actively be involved in country deployments:
- participate in fit/gap blueprint/process workshops
- participate in data migration concept elaboration
- assess and document gaps between local requirements and global template
- support system testing and cut-over activities
- conduct post go live support
- liaise with members of project team to prepare meetings governing the project progress such as e.g. Steering Committees

Ensure SAP Template Governance
- manage VCM template evolution
- manage Service Change Request (Assessment), functional specification
- plan & deploy process & system changes in VCM (implantation, ,testing, user training, post go-live support)
- maintain System Integrity (G4, Legacy, Interfaces, etc.)

Ensure Master Data Governance
- define data standards (Standard Data Policies &
Procedures, Naming & Numbering Conventions, languages, etc.)
- define data strategy (integration between systems, security, data
sharing)
- define & maintain SAP Authorization Profiles

Prepare the Training manuals and exercises for the local Key users and train them (e.g. train the trainers)

Participate in deployment of enabling technologies projects.
