• University Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Physics or Telecom.

• Experience of the GSM market with a Telecom operator, a smart card manufacturer, a mobile phone manufacturer or telecom service provider
• Customer facing role
• Application support, technical project manager or R&D engineer

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

• Own the technical customer interface and oversee all technical related projects to the assigned customer accounts
• Provide in-depth pre-sale and post-sale support to complete sales process from client requirement to product or solution delivery, included product definition, test and validation.

Technical Consultant

• Define, own and write any functional requirement specification (FRS) for any card-based projects (SIM Toolkit application, personalisation or initialisation configuration and data, industrialisation process…)
• Provide internally and externally technical expertise on product, standard, Telco practice and Sagem Orga know-how
• Be responsible of the pre-production or BAP card process, from the specification to the customer acceptance, including the creation of the first sample cards, the internal and external testing and the pre-production card delivery.
• Assist with internal testing activities as required.
• Assist in the planning and presentation of `customer training/session/events etc.
• Product fault analysis and repair.

Technical Account Management

• Own the technical customer interface and oversee all technical related projects to the assigned customer accounts
• Be the principle technical contact for the customer in respect of product support, roadmaps, application and solutions definition, project deployment and any technical problems or faults.
• Manage and co-ordinate internal technical communication to be passed to customer in a timely and professional manner.
• Acquire a good understanding of the customer card-based solutions (Sagem Orga and competition’s one) and a good technical knowledge of the local card solutions.
• Understand the technical organisation at the customer and advice Sagem Orga on how and where to promote the products and solutions
• Build and maintain strong effective relationship with customers

Pre-Sales

• Proactively act to understand customer technical needs and identify potential card-based solutions in relation with the Sagem Orga portfolio and capacities
• Introduce and promote any new product, application and solution (presentation, white paper, training, demonstration, pilot)
• Define the functional requirement specification (FRS) for any card-based projects with the agreement and support of the R&D Application Development and the Application & Solution team.
• Responsible for the technical answers to global RFI and RFQ on card-related products. Provide assistance to the Sales Account Manager with regard to technical queries.

Project Owner

• Own any customer related project within Sagem Orga organisation
• Manage the full delivery of basic SIM card project – referred internally as Trial Card or BAP card - In that case the technical consultant owns the specifications, the project co-ordination, the internal validation and the customer acceptance.
• Participation in regular project meetings, both internally and externally.
• Represent internally the customer to make sure that any delivery and communications are coherent with customer prime expectations.
• Work with European and world-wide factories for the industrialisation of the smart cards;
• Liaise with development teams for application development, support, training etc and follow-up delivery
• Update Sagem Orga technical / sales / factory / quality / management personnel on activities
• Manage and co-ordinate internal team if required

Miscellaneous
• Liaise with corporate technical or product departments to provide the necessary feedback on customer product and service expectations
• Work independently; report on regular basis. Act as an integral part of an international team where good communication and timely response are critical elements of the job.
