• As a Senior Webdesigner, you are intimate with every aspect of the design process. You are knowledgeable in numerous standards, technologies and software applications.
• Although you will not be required to design a site from scratch, you must be able to create additional elements from a layout that has been started by someone else, transform the layout into XHTML files, along with the necessary CSS and entry-level Javascript code for functionality. Also, you are an expert in browser compatibility issues, website and application usability.
• The work that you deliver is of the highest quality and representative for our company. You act as a mentor for Junior Webdesigners, teaching them the tricks of the trade. As a team player, you communicate easily, solve unexpected problems, accomplish tasks within the deadline and can work on different tasks in parallel.

Qualifications
• You have an excellent understanding of website usability
• Intermediate Adobe Photoshop knowledge (cropping, resizing, color adjustments, text editing, web optimization, cut-outs)
• Extensive XHTML skills. Ability to create a scalable table-less file (retains its properties under browser zoom), pages that are independent of browser resolution
• Extensive CSS knowledge. You are able to organize CSS classes efficiently, using the appropriate representation method for each particular task.
• Good DHTML skills. You are able to create dynamic menus, change the content in a DIV, implement drag&drop features, keyboard shortcuts and right-click menus.
• Good Javascript skills. You know how to work with predefined events and classes, and develop your own reusable code. You are organized and your work is commented and clean. You are aware of the tools that are put at your disposal by the standard.
• Browser compatibility knowledge. Every aspect of your work is compatible with major browsers. When coding in Javascript, you handle errors professionally.
• Good DOM insight. You can implement browser detection code, communication between browser windows, detect screen resolution, etc. You know how to achieve the same result using DOM as with standard Javascript.
• Good verbal and writing English skills are required.
• Adobe Flash skills are a plus.
