Chief Accountant

-Proven experience in team leadership.
-Qualified Accountant.
-Relevant experience in the sector.
-Must possess a college degree, preferably in a business-related field. University degree in Accounting and Finance is a plus.
-Very good knowledge of the Romanian Accounting and Fiscal Legislation.
-Languages skills are also appreciated, English compulsory and German optional.
-Proactive with good work scheduling and prioritisation skills.
-Ability to work in an international environment.

JOB MISSION

Directs the overall financial plans and accounting practices of the hotels. Oversees treasury, accounting, budget, tax and audit activities of the organization and subsidiaries. Oversees financial and accounting system controls and standards and ensures timely financial and statistical reports for management and/or Board use. Manages hotels investments and working capital needs.

KEY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE

·Work as part of, and lead accounting team, including coach, counsel and providing feedback to other team members.
·Costs analysis. Being able to explain/report cost variances from plan and look at any details.
·Payroll administration for the hotels including all tax and other legal declarations keeping up with local legislation.
·Produce the main fiscal statements.
·Maintain fixed asset registers.
·Monitor financial controls.
·Prepare financial reports for International Chain of Hotels.
·Reporting to the General Manager of the Antares Hotels.
