CANDIDATUL IDEAL:

• University level: Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications
• +5 years of related Radio Network Planning experience
• +3 year of Team Leader experience
• Good knowledge of Radio Transmission technologies and protocols. CDMA technology knowledge represents an advantage
• Good skills in using a radio network planning tool
• Good knowledge technologies and protocols: Access: xDSL, FO, MW; Solid TCP/IP background
• Good Communication and Coordination skills
• Ability to manage resources (time, people)
• Ability to deliver results in time
• Ability to identify and prioritize critical tasks
• Ability to find quick effective solutions.
• Good written and spoken English language skills.


RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

• Ensures the planning of new BTS sites in line with the commercial requirements
• Coordinates the planning for relocation of BTSes in areas with higher number of potential customers
• Triggers a periodic process of network optimization and tuning based on external inputs from Commercial and drive testing measurements
• Traffic management: ensures that capacity of Radio Access and Transport meets traffic requirements
• Interfaces with Product Management for BTS location requirements, with other technical departments or subcontractors for site survey and drive testing, with other technical departments for Transport (IP and Access) solutions, with Finance/Product Management for solution feasibility check, with Procurement for materials acquisition
• Communicates closely with Network Deployment Manager to align site rollout with site design assupmtions
• Establishes RNPO KPIs for measuring the quality parameters of the design and optimization processes
• Ensures that the RNPO team has all the resources available for RNPO activities
• Monitors the Radio Network Planning and Optimization processes for efficiency and optimal resource usage
• Prioritizes and closely monitor the critical tasks
• Ensures the quality of the RNPO deliverables: site design, coverage map
• Ensures that the RNPO engineers have the right tools and trainings to deliver quality designs in a timely manner.
