CDMA General Manager - Technology Corporate Group (GM-TC)

• University degree in Engineering
• MBA represents an advantage
• Minimum 5 years experience in Mobile Industry, preferable for Mobile Operators
• Requires detailed knowledge of CDMA standards, test specifications and understanding of mobile station hardware/software implementation
• Requires detailed knowlege of Mobile Operator Organization, Network Architecture and IT systems interconnections
• Flexibility / capacity to overtake multiple responsibilities and chalanges focusing on his/her objectives
• Work efficiently in a time-pressured environment and shift from strategic planning to both operational and tactical work mode
• Extensive experience with project and program management
• A self-starter with strong task-orientation
• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, communications and planning skills
• Proven communication, coaching and interpersonal skills. Ability to energize and inspire
• Able to coordinate teams of minimum 20 employees / experts
• Work requires incumbents to exercise independence and discretion
• Proactive, dynamic and enthusiastic
• Very good communication skills in English.

• Is responsible for planning of CDMA Network based on Commercial Input
• Conducts project management for Network Rollout
• Is responsible of Network optimization and performance management
• Planning and engineering point-to point wireless access networks including mobile networks
• Provides technical support and expertise in the implementation plan of wireless access systems
• Designs technical specifications of platforms and related services and provides technical support for procurement department
• Provides technical support for regulatory function in relation with radio spectrum management and wireless communication regulations
• Elaborates technical guidelines and provides support to operation function for operating and maintenance procedures and work instructions
• Provides operational plans with datelines to account teams and setup task forces for opportunities that require immediate attention, within specified functional and/or process areas. Understands relevant business issues and the organization's operating procedures and connects these to work priorities
• Develops and manages an efficient team, facilitating teamwork as well as the implementation of progressive change
• Evaluates the objectives set for each of the subordinates and gives feedback and points out areas for improvement.
