CANDIDATUL IDEAL:

Main requirements:
• University Degree - Polytechnics, Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
• Clean driving licence (mandatory)
• 1-2 years of relevant previous experience (as defined in the role)
• Previous experience in field related activities (engineering electronics)
• Computer related competencies (Windows; MS Office; medium) ; Radio Propagation; Modulation techniques.


RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

The RF Engineer performs specific Radio Access Network activities (design, implementation, dimensioning, monitoring, optimization for coverage and capacity in a multi-technology (GSM, UMTS voice and data services; WLAN) environment, through management of daily operations, in order to ensure quality key performance indicators.

Main responsibilities:

• Plan the network expansion and validate the forecast in order to increase the network confidence.
• Design both indoor/outdoor sites (including site position selection, equipment configuration, antenna placement guidelines, radio parameters etc.) for GSM, GPRS, UMTS and WLAN systems
• Develop network through rollout deployment activities (site initiation form, candidate rank, equipment orders, site configuration form; follow-up on related activities), by keeping equipment inventory database updated, by providing support to rollout project manager and by integrating GSM and UMTS new sites into existing network
• Daily monitoring of performance statistics, drive tests analysis, base station system information collection
• Optimize the radio access network through daily monitoring of performance statistics, drive tests analysis, base station system information collection.
• Issue work orders for implementing changes into the network; handling interoperability issues between GSM, UMTS, vendors (both technology and multi vendor challenges)
• Investigate and take all the necessary actions in order to maintain the radio access network key performance indicators within the agreed limits
• Participate as resource in special projects / trials involving radio access network side.
