Software Project Manager for Powertrain Management

Degree in Electrical, Electronic,Control or Computer Engineering
• 0-7 years of experience in Embedded Software development (automotive preferred)
• Experience in working in a cross-functional team environment
• Experience in international and multi-cultural organisation
• Domestic and/or international travelling: 5%
• Knowledge in the area of embedded software development for real-time systems
• Knowledge of test environment, tools (Matlab, Simulink and it’s an advantage to know INCA, CANalyzer, dSpace/ETAS HIL systems), process and methods
• Knowledge in the area of powertain (engine or transmission), internal combustion engines or gearboxes is a plus
• Knowledge in the area of software development processes and quality assurance
• Basic knowledge of sensors and electrical actuators desirable

In Powertrain management system and calibration Division, the Specification & Test Engineer will be responsible with one or more of the following (depending on precise role) in accordance with software development standards :
• Definition of the software specification by producing a coherent suite of software requirements, interfaces in the development of complex powertrain software (engine or transmission).
• Technical exchanges with software supplier on software specifications.
• Development of tests scenarii (manual or automated tests) for software validation on HIL test bench or on vehicle.
• Validation of the functionality of software, according to the requirements or specifications in accordance with the validation plan established by the Software Project Manager.
• Maintaining software defect tracking database and follow-up of corrective actions.
• Calibration Management.
• Industrialization of the Software and Calibration.
• Diagnosis documentation for after-sale and plants about powertrain management system.
• Ensure support to the users of the software (tunning, vehicle engineering)
