Accountant

REQUIREMENTS

• Integrity, hands-on approach, result-oriented, team player, analytical thinking;
• Higher education (economics/accounting) and accounting qualification;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably including analysis and reporting of financial data;
• Good knowledge of Romanian accounting standards and legislation; knowledge of IAS/IFRS is a plus;
• Good computer literacy (both Microsoft Office applications and accounting software);
• Good English knowledge (speaking & writing);
• Very good communication skills;

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Liaise with the accounting company, handle the flow of documents and information to and from the accounting company and supervise the accounting process for all companies in the group;
• Examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations and prepare reports customized to support business decisions;
• Develop, implement, modify and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
• Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
• Examine the trial balance and balance sheet and other statutory reports and tax returns requested by the
• Handle the cash in/out process and the cash register;
• Handle the banks relationship – payment orders, account statements, leasing/loan documentation etc;
