CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Systems
Minimum of 2 years experience as an Oracle database administrator with proficiency in the management and optimization / tuning of relational databases
Minimum of 4 years professional Information Technology experience.
At least 2 or more of these years working with a large Unix environment (IBM RS/6000 AIX systems preferred) in a high demand-based, service oriented company
Knowledge of three-tier environments with IBM WebSphere and Oracle iAS application servers
Good organizational abilities, oral communications, and interpersonal skills
Very good English knowledge |
RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Provides primary support for the Oracle products on an IBM AIX platform: Oracle Enterprise Edition 8i/9i; Tuning Pack; Diagnostics Pack; Real Application Clusters; Oracle 9iAS; Internet Developer Suite
Installs, configures and maintains WebSphere and iAS application servers on AIX and Windows platforms
Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of Oracle databases.
Reviews, approves, applies and tests patches, changes and/or modifications to relational database file definitions and schemas
Works with the RS6000 system administrator to maintain bank's servers and client applications and patches on an IBM RS/6000/AIX environment
Evaluates the status of the installation of components on regular basis and if necessary takes corrective measures |
