CANDIDATUL IDEAL:

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of two years experience in public relations, marketing, advertising or journalism developing skills needed to create a variety of publications, collateral materials, and knowledge to generate publicity.
• Degree in Journalism, English and/or Marketing/Communications required.
• Excellent written communication skills. Job requires firm knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Strong verbal skills preferred; able to communicate well with associates and external parties on behalf of the organization.
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Must be highly self-directed and resourceful, yet function well as a team member.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, etc.). Knowledge of graphic design programs (e.g., computer graphics (e.g., Adobe PageMaker, Quark, InDesign) a plus.
• Ability to maintain and update databases.
• Communicates effectively by clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
• Contributes to the team and company's success; actively participates as a member of a team to move the organization toward the completion of goals.
• Maintains customer focus; makes customers (employees, public, media, etc.) and their needs a primary focus of one’s actions; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships.

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

The Public Relations Specialist is responsible for the daily implementation and maintenance of the public relations and marketing efforts for KeepCalling.com. This includes working with the Director of Public Relations in the development of the marketing and communications plan in accordance with the strategic plans of KeepCalling.com as defined by management. A major focus of this position will be to create, maintain, and implement internal and external marketing/communication initiatives through the use of marketing material, publications, media relations, and special events. A primary focus will be on developing and maintaining relationships with media in the markets where KeepCalling.com has a presence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversees the production of all internal and external communications pieces including the following:

• All of the organizations’ general, as well as specific programs and bulletins
• Employee newsletters
• Internet websites
• Media releases
• Other publications as needed

• Determines annual and quarterly production calendars based upon the marketing/communication needs and timing of the organization and of its departments and services.
• Determines content of publications with input from various department members and staff. Responsible partly for quality of proofing and final production standards of materials produced.
• Resource for all graphics standards for the organization (e.g., correct logos, terms, etc.); position will be the referral point for internal and partner staffs in correct usage of names, title, logos, etc.
• Responsible for proofing of all collateral and communications materials that carry the KeepCalling.com logo and that of its programs and services.
• Acts, under the direction of the Director of Public Relations, as the releasing authority for information to the customers and/or news media regarding KeepCalling.com and/or activities of its staff and employees.
• Consults and supports other departments in need of marketing and/or publicity material.
• Writes and edits standardized copy for the organization, programs and services to be used in a consistent manner in all printed material.
• Develops and pitches story angles and initiates media contacts to promote positive awareness of products and services.
• Acts as KeepCalling.com’s representative to the media, when needed. Acts as public relations on-call representative for KeepCalling.com.
• Helps develop and lead special projects and initiatives for various sponsored events, as needed.
• Acts as public relations/marketing resource for all KeepCalling.com departments, programs and services. This includes presentations, displays, and promotional materials.
• Assists all departments and locations with obtaining promotional materials.
