H&S CONSULTANT

- university degree
- relevant experience - at least 1 year in the area, preferably within a multinational company
- advance knowledge of health and safety and certification in relevant HS legislation
- excellent spoken and written English
- presentation and training skills
- good communication skills

- PC skills Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- certification as Health & Safety Inspector would be a plus
- fast learning capability

- coordinates projects and tasks outlined in the yearly Health & Safety action plan, keeps up-to-date records about the status of the activities and projects
- coordinates the Health & Safety and Personal Safety activities, establishes the meetings agenda, complies reminders and memos, and follows up the activities
- updates and implements the Health & Safety procedures and policies; sets up the internal rules and takes actions for H&S in order to ensure compliance with Health & Safety policy
- analyzes the Health & Safety risks and comes up with solutions to improve the working conditions and the level of safety
- carries out safety checks, heads Health & Safety Committee and liaises with safety representatives to ensure relevant safety procedures are followed
- coordinates that risk assessments and work audits are occurring timely and adequately
- develops, organizes and provides day to day Health & Safety training to company staff
