Project Manager, Network and Systems

• University graduate
• 2 years experience working on a project team or in a Project Management related area
• Good planning and organizing abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good delivery and meeting facilitation skills
• Positive, customer oriented attitude
• Good English communication skills
• Understanding of a project management cycle.
• Ability to motivate others and negotiate positive outcomes
• Good PC Skills: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. (MS Project is preferred but not a requirement)

Role:

Provide reliable, open, and honest communication to/from stakeholders & the project team. Gather and store information so project/program related details are available to team members. Collect, organize, and then process information to make informed and accurate strategic decisions. Engage team members and build trust to help them achieve maximum performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead teams of various sizes on cross functional projects.
• Lead teams of various sizes on internal department projects.
• Work with team members to define project deliverables.
• Work with team members to define required resources.
• Develop project plans to support the overall program plan(s).
• Identify project milestones and critical path planning for success.
• Maintain a current project plan with both plan & actual timelines.
• Maintain a current financial view with budget, changes, & actual costs.
• Provide a risk assessment and mitigation plan as needed.
• Provide progress updates and status reports to team & stakeholders.
• Manage team member participation, resources, vendors and contracts.
• Track, communicate, and resolve problems affecting the project goals.
• Measure and communicate team and team member performance.
• Ensure project information is recorded and stored electronically.
• Ensure projects are built according to adopted quality standards.
• Ensure projects are completed within the adopted schedule.
• Ensure projects are delivered within the adopted budget.
• Provide a team “lessons learned” report for each completed projects.
• Participate in developing a “best practices” methodology for PM group.
• Contribute to improvement and engagement initiatives as requested.
• Positively influence other team members by supporting coworkers.
• Effectively manage team meetings and maximize team coordination.
