Production Manager

One of the global leaders in industrial manufacturing area, having a strong presence in Romania, is currently looking for a professional to join the organization as Production Manager.

Technical education at bachelor level or higher and/or 3-5 years of production manager experience in a similar steel-production
Strong communication skills, both on the shop floor and in offices.
Good command of English in speech and writing.
Strong ability to organize tasks and follow up.
Advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Define, implement and follow-up on policies, procedures and instructions
Constantly push for continues improvements (better, faster, cheaper)
Production follow-up – operations are finished according to production plans
Ensuring on-line production logging in ERP
Process development
Overseeing and supporting the daily operation
Ensure relevant capacity-planning
Continually improve and optimize the function

Setting working and safety rules for processes/operators
Knowing relevant official laws and regulations regarding environment and labor rights/obligations – and apply such regulations
Overseeing the fulfillments of such rules and regulations – and perform necessary corrective actions
Ensure clean and tight work places and production areas
