30 DRIVERS required for training for City of PLYMOUTH (male and female), 3 for City of EXETER (Knowledge and driving test for both cities in UK) and 2 FEMALE DRIVERS ONLY for Loughborough.
Loughborough has no knowledge test in the UK and is easy (5 days maximum in Prague) with only a driving test in UK.
The population of a particular town or city has no relevance to earnings, Taxi drivers in Yeovil, Somerset (population 40,000) earn more than taxi drivers in London (population 10 million)!
Reserve your place for courses in August/September 2010 NOW. There is no recession in the UK taxi industry. 300-400+pounds a week CLEAR PROFIT (with the exception of London, where the trade is like the traffic - very slow)!
The next step is to look through the list of accommodation and book your hostel. Make the booking for one or two nights only as there will be those already on the course who have found a better, cheaper place to stay. Take their advice.
The next option to consider is how you are going to get to Prague, by car, bus, train or plane. The flights can sometimes be less than the bus fare!

If you can provide me with a definite start date, it is possible for me to release part of the course material for you to study at home, thus reducing your time spent in Prague (see attachment). This will consist of a list of 'venues' (hotels, bars, restaurants, schools) and their addresses. On arrival in Prague you will undertake a driving assessment to ensure that you are a safe driver. If you fail the driving assessment, you will not continue the course. You will be advised to go away and practice driving until such time you can drive safely, you may then return.
In Prague I prepare you for the exam in the UK that you will have to take and pass in order to become a licensed Private Hire Taxi driver. The course consists of studying and memorising such lists, planning 'routes' (how to get from point A to point B) and local council rules and regulations that apply to Private Hire Taxi drivers. Once you have proven to me (by way of mock examinations) that you have learnt the material, you may return to your home to arrange your departure (usually within 7-10 days) or in the case of Plymouth, on alternate Saturdays, directly from Prague.
UK TAXI's Academy of Driver Training is in calm, clean, air-conditioned offices. We prepare you for life in the UK, you must shave, shower and wear clean clothes daily (a tie will be provided). The course is FREE, we make no charge to you for the training, we get our fee from the recruiting Taxi company. All course materials, notepads, pens, maps etc are also provided free of charge. I only recruit to order. If a taxi company in Manchester asks for ten drivers and one in Penzance orders six, I train 16 drivers. The job is therefore guaranteed on completion of training.
In the UK the car is supplied by the company and jobs despatched to the driver via an onboard computer system. The duration of your stay in Prague is largely dependent on you, your capacity to learn, how you apply yourself during your stay and if pre-supplied with some of the course material, how much (if any) you learn prior to arrival. If you learn (all) the pre-supplied material, as little as one week, if you arrive not knowing anything, 3 weeks. IT IS IN YOUR INTEREST TO STUDY BEFORE YOU ARRIVE - DO NOT TURN UP KNOWING NOTHING
THIS COURSE IS FREE. ON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION, YOUR FLIGHT, ONWARD TRANSPORTATION, LICENSING FEES, CAR/INSURANCE AND ACCOMMODATION DEPOSIT IS PAID FOR BY THE COMPANY IN ADVANCE (most but not all companies, ask you to contribute to these costs in reasonable weekly amounts once you start working), £25 to £30 a week MAXIMUM, not £60-70 a week demanded by some companies.
