Senior Audit Manager

Our client is one of the world’s largest accountancy firms and is currently seeking a senior audit manger to join their busy and rapidly expanding practice in Bucharest. Candidates for this position really must be outstanding and able to provide a full and comprehensive work history and experience. This is a very demanding position and requires somebody with flare, dynamism and exceptionally good management skills. You will be qualified to a minimum of ACCA and possess at least 5 years experience in audit management. You will be responsible for a department comprising 6 or 7 qualified senior/associate auditors and take charge of the planning and budgeting of the department's activities including full due diligence, reviewing of the audit file, the permanent file, the financial statements and attending cold reviews/meetings with the partners. In addition to the overall smooth running and management of the department, you will also provide assistance to the partners, help with recruitment and expansion of the practice, staff appraisal and development and answer technical questions about IFRSs etc. The salary and package on offer is very attractive and will be discussed in detail at the client interview.
