Production Manager (Textiles)

Our client is a British company with an ultra modern production facility and factory one hour outside of Bucharest. They are seeking a young but experienced dynamic and ambitious person to join their busy and fast expanding business. This is a very exciting opportunity and is only suitable for somebody looking for a long-term career. This job will lead to promotion to Production Director within 6 months of starting as Production Manager and therefore the successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience both of the textile industry and of management. The factory currently employs over 100 workers so applicants for this position must have a good track record in people management as well as textile production and manufacturing. The applicants MUST be able to deal with a high level of stress and responsilbility.

The job entails the full range of production activities and applicants should possess qualifications and first hand knowledge of “health and safety in the workplace” as well as an appropriate certificate or degree in management and textile production techniques. You must speak and write excellent English and have good communication skills at all levels. You will have an outgoing and professional approach to everything you undertake. The salary is negotiable and commensurate with your age, abilities and experience. Free accommodation is provided during the week if you live in Bucharest or a permanent relocation is available if you live elsewhere in Romania.
