Software Integration Specialist

Requirements:
- University degree, preferably in Computer Science;
- Sound experience in development and maintenance of software applications (object oriented programming is a must);
- Strong knowledge of RDBMS; Oracle/ MS SQL Server administration/ programming experience is an advantage;
- At least 2 years experience in analysis and modeling (UML, RUP, etc);
- Knowledge in system administration area (Windows; Unix is an advantage);
- Good experience with web protocols and standards (HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, XML; SMTP, SOAP, EDI – is an advantage);
- Experience in software integration, EAI principles, webMethods is a plus;
- Knowledge of client/server architectures;
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities:
- Actively participates to the implementation of Petrom’s application management/ SAP strategy and delivery of projects and services for the business department;
- Contributes to the analysis of customer requirements, supporting the design and development, testing and deployment of the solutions;
- Software integration&interface development of complex software applications/ SAP projects using all available functionalities and tools;
- Research and evaluate alternative options and recommends the most efficient and cost-effective solution for the development of the applications;
- Responsible for the development according to the technical requirements provided by the project teams and within the agreed timelines, guidelines, and quality requirements;
- Testing and documentation of all developments according to existing guidelines, creating the user manuals.
