MAINTENANCE PLANNING SUPERINTENDENT

REQUIREMENTS for the Candidate
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- Mechanical background preferably exposed to Project Management and Management Information Systems;
- 15 (fifteen) years working experience in a Maintenance department of a Refinery / Gas or Petrochemical plant;
- Minimum 3 - 4 years working as a planning engineer;
- Familiar with the planning of stationary and rotating equipment;
- Familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS program)
- Working experience with WinProject planning Software;
- Effective communication and ability to write technical reports with minimum guidance and supervision;
- Team leadership and ability to guide and motivate the subordinates;
- Speak and write fluent English;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Initiative and customer-focused.

The selected candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Supervise Maintenance daily and monthly planning/scheduling activities;
- Provide support to all Maintenance department sections;
- Coordinate in the preparation/execution of Unit shutdowns and major turnaround activities at optimum cost;
- Follow-up implementation of preventive maintenance plan;
- Take initiate to develop Maintenance Management performance reports to improve the overall department performance at optimum cost;
- Coordinate annual resource, capital and operating budgets for the department;
- Prepare various regular and adhoc management reports.

Job location: Ras Laffan - QATAR
Duration: Long term contract , from 1 year to 5 years or more
Posibility of taking the family with, (wife and children)

Money allowance provided for covering the costs for: transport (mob/demob/vacation for self and dependants)/ housing/utilities/furniture.
High monthly salary.
Yearly bonus based on merit, yearly salary increase 3-5% based on merit.
Vacation: 37 working days/year.
National Holydays granted.
End of service award: one month salary for every year of service.
