Project Manager - Oil & Gas

Specific knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Proven track record of management at site level of time critical shutdowns and turnarounds within oil & gas, petrochemical and chemical industries.

Business knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Ability to liaise between client and company across all levels;
- Budget Management.

Education and experience:
- Degree qualification in mechanical or chemical engineering;
- 5-10 years professional experience in big companies and large scale projects;
- IT literate;
- Advanced English skills is a must.

- Moral integrity.

Other requirements:
- Pleasant physical and personal presence;
- Driving license, B category is an advantage.

- Involvement in project bid process with regard to timescales, manning and equipment requirements;
- Responsible for pre-planning and pre-engineering prior to shutdown;
- Management of mobilization to client site and project set up;
- Responsible for all direct site production matters;
- Proactive management of health and safety on site;
- Liaison with the Client and/or the Client’s representatives with regards to direct production matters;
- Responsible for the Project expenditure, in line with the predetermined project guidelines;
- Responsible for the expenditure of all agreed overtime working;
- Responsible for work schedules in line with the agreed project key date schedule;
- Responsible for material expenditure in line with agreed budget guidelines;
- Responsible for the supervision of all site staff to include, leave, safety and absence reporting;
- Responsible for plant, equipment, and vehicles onsite, to include daily maintenance procedures, reporting and record keeping;
- Responsible for the Quality Control and Procedures of the project;
- Responsible for producing all project management reports;
- Responsible for the safe, efficient and cost effective operations of all aspects related to the works and in accordance with Company procedures and/or Customer requirements applicable to the works assigned.
