Construction Manager for Buildings

Technical knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Sound experience in concrete work;
- Broad experience with large scale projects and big reputable companies;
- Work experience in major civil and building works, consisting of multiple services systems and support contracts, large central utility complex, university or other large commercial facility;
- Experience in directing site operations and work force at major building facilities, consisting of many disciplinants and construction systems.

Education and experience:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management;
- Minimum 10 (ten) years experience;
- Strong working knowledge of construction means and methods;
- Exposure to large size projects in the field required.

Essential job functions:
- Provide feedback to the Project Manager on progress and highlight problematic areas in execution of the project plan together with causes and solutions;
- Coordinate all sites activities and operations;
- Keep record of project implementation;
- Establishing and maintaining the safety standards required by the safety officer before, during and after the execution of work;
- Insure safe and effective utilization of resources;
- Control project logistics;
- Supervise and develop the performance of the project staff;
- Responsible for daily execution of the project according to plan.
