Job Title: Electrical Technician
Reporting to: Electrical Charge hand
Role: Work as part of the construction team in the implementation of construction workpacks received for overhaul/upgrading of existing equipment and also installation of new plant including but not limited to generation, distribution, process and HVAC systems. Being part of tis team calls for a large degree of flexibility and co-operation as well as integration into other work fronts when own discipline activities are not deemed as priority.
Responsibilities:
Employees are required to adhere to the Company Safety Procedures set down in the Safety Management System. Where appropriate, on Client premises or sites, comply with the relevant site instructions and SMS therein.
Accountable for the undertaking in a competent and professional manner, all allocated tasks as detailed within the SMS Activity Register appropriate to the location. All tasks will be carried out in a manner, which takes cognisance of the stated objectives and the methods to achieve this goal.
Confirm to the Quality Assurance Manual and procedures as appropriate to their work activities.
Execute work as directed by the relevant supervisor in accordance with client and CPL operating and safety procedures maintaining expected quality standards and productivity levels.
Ensure any task undertaken is done in a safe manner using recognised procedures and is covered by a fully endorsed permit to work. Also to act as person in charge of worksite (PICWS) if suitably qualified.
Participate in and actively promote CPL and client sponsored safety initiatives and programmes. This may entail attendance on specified courses during either onshore or offshore cycles.
Gain the site/platform level of competency as required by CPL or the client.
Provide all documentation for designated tasks in an acceptable format as laid down by the CPL and client relevant procedures
Participate in any CPL/Client emergency duties on completion of appropriate training (on voluntary basis only).
Skills and qualifications:
Recognised apprenticeship and 1 years relevant experience or similar approved.
Competence to the required Company standard.
COMPEX Certificate Essential
Indentured Apprenticeship
HRL/Morecambe Bay experience.

Job Title: Instrument Technician (Construction)
Reporting to: Instrument Chargehand
Role: To work as part of the construction team in the implementation of construction work packs received for overhaul/upgrading of existing equipment and also installation of new plant including but not limited to measurement and control systems and fire and gas systems. Being part of this team calls for a large degree of flexibility and co-operation as well as integration into other work fronts when own discipline activities are not deemed as priority.

Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Reporting to: Mechanical Senior Technician
Role: Work as part of a team of technicians executing routine, corrective and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment normally found in the offshore/petrochemical industry: Compressors, HVAC, power turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, condensers, evaporators, workshop machines, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, vibration analysis, mechanical seals, alignment techniques, filtration systems, pneumatic systems, cranes
Responsibilities:
Employees are required to adhere to the Company Safety Procedures set down in the Safety Management System. Where appropriate, on Client premises or sites, comply with the relevant site instructions and SMS therein.

Attain required trade specific competency levels.
Raise appropriate data sheets and change notices, originating from completed PMRs to enhance Maintenance database and meet the data input standards.
Complete appropriate jobcard history, on data entry proforma sheets, on completion of job and to raise any follow up jobcards necessary.
Ensure all appropriate documentation is passed to senior technician immediately upon completion of work.
Ensure the safe and cost effective use of spares and materials.
Ensure the safe and cost effective use of tools and machinery.
Participate in required emergency duties.
Be flexible regarding working hours to suit operational requirements.
Skills and qualifications:
Recognised apprenticeship and 1 years relevant experience or similar approved.
Competence to the required Company standard.
HRL/Morecambe Bay experience.
Additional skills such as Coxwain, OIM, ERT and Hazardous areas would be an advantage.
Job Title: Pipe fitter
Reporting to: Pipefitting Chargehand/Construction Supervisor
Role: Execute the fabrication/erection/testing of pipework associated fittings in a safe and competent manner. Also a large degree of flexibility is required as well as integration into other workfronts when own discipline activities are not deemed as priority.
Responsibilities:
Employees are required to adhere to the Company Safety Procedures set down in the Safety Management System. Where appropriate, on Client premises or sites, comply with the relevant site instructions and SMS therein.

Competent in the operation of associated equipment e.g. Grinders, Drills Steel Saws, Oxy Acetylene, Propane etc. Working knowledge of Carbon Steel cutting techniques (Hot and Cold Work), Stainless Steels, Exotics awareness of cross contamination problems. NVQ in Pipefitting would be advantage. Knowledge/Competent in Instrument Fitting would be an advantage HRL standard Parker A lok.
Knowledge/trained in Cold work pipe repair and fabrication techniques Pipe flaring, Cold work Couplings High/Low pressures,
Working Knowledge of H&SWA, PUWER, COSHH, LOLER, and HRL Codes and Standards. Knowledge of Hand Arm Vibration issues, and Pressure Equipment Directive.
Awareness of quality control procedures relating to materials e.g. Transfer of Cast Numbers NDT techniques, MPI, U/T, Radiography. Testing Requirement. Flange alignment and Bolt tightening requirement.
Competent in the understanding of engineering Drawings ELDs, and setting out requirements. E.g. Setting up Butt welds, socket welds, screwed joints working to datums.
Competent in the testing of fabricated pipe work and Systems e.g. Hydro testing, Pneumatic/Nitrogen Testing, Nitrogen Helium Testing and awareness of the Dangers associated with each.
Ability to get on with individuals and communicate to management/Engineering levels to workforce level. Supervisory experience would be an advantage Competent as a Performing Authority (HRL Competency Standard).
Field experienced and awareness of issues on HRL Platforms. E.g. Calder Platform H2S, DPPA Benzene, CPC, stage 1 and stage 2 Benzene, NORM. High Energy Hot Work Problems, Restrictions and requirements.

Reporting to: Plating Chargehand/Construction Supervisor
Role: Execute the fabrication/erection and destruct of structural steel work and associated fittings in a safe and competent manner. Also a large degree of flexibility and co-operation is required as well as integration into other workfronts when own discipline activities are not deemed as priority.
Responsibilities:

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Reporting to: Maintenance Engineer
Role: Undertakes routine engineering maintenance and defect repair tasks to ensure the reliability and scheduled availability of operational plant and equipment associated with gas production/processing and condensate storage.
Responsibilities:
Execute routine and non-routine maintenance activities in accordance with agreed procedures and operational requirements.
Investigate complex technical problems relating to critical plant, identifies solutions and acts to return plant to normal operating service.
Prepare and presents technical reports and maintains appropriate records of activities within the recognised systems.
Carry out commissioning and de-commissioning activities to meet planned plant operating programmes.
Contribute to the design and commissioning of plant modifications including the initiation of recommendations for modifications.
Provide technical support for ship loading operations (onshore only).
Supervises other staff and vendor/contractor employees in undertaking particular work activities.
Ensure that safe working practices and procedures are adhered to within his/her area of work, and that appropriate permit is in place.
Liase with operational/production staff and Technicians in other disciplines to ensure a safe and effective approach to tasks within the overall operational and maintenance programme.
Undertake a range of specialist technical and safety training as part of an emergency response team.
Trained to be competent in a range of activities ancillary to his/her core discipline.
Participate in a standby rota to provide advice over the telephone or respond to a call out as appropriate.
Skills and qualifications:
Completed, recognised formal training programme or apprenticeship to achieve technician or craft status.
A BTEC Ordinary Certificate or equivalent in an appropriate engineering subject is necessary.
Possess sufficient experience of the maintenance of high-pressure process plant and equipment to be competent within his/her core engineering discipline.
Sound verbal and written communication skills.
Basic IT skills to operate appropriate software and hardware systems.
Work under limited supervision that is directional rather than detailed.
Technical expertise to lead in certain aspects of his/her discipline and investigate issues, preparing and presenting technical reports upon which engineering judgements will be made.
Sufficient knowledge of procedures and be able to relate them to the work activities.
