CANDIDATUL IDEAL:

Education & professional experience:

· Degree in Engineering or equivalent
· Sales Experience within a Modernization department in an elevators company is a real advantage
· Must be a top class communicator with natural confidence
· Must be highly organized and punctual
· A good team player
· Self-motivated, enthusiastic and willing to learn
· Good presentation skills
· Product/company knowledge
· Computer skills and good command of English


RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

· Maintain and expand the Company’s business by promoting and selling modernization solutions in order to achieve sales target.
· Maintain good working relationships with existing customers to encourage their continued patronage. It is also essential that good relationships are developed and maintained with internal staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
· Remain up to date with the company products and services to ensure appropriate sales are made and that customer queries are answered accurately and wherever possible without referral.
· To communicate with other departments to obtain existing site and lift details in order to pre-qualify potential modernization projects.
· Develop specification and tender packages for modernization proposals to pro-actively provide technical and sales information to customers.
· To complete all documentation required for the order process, both internal and external, and liaise with other departments to ensure all projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
· Work in a safe manner by adhering to the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
· To identify and maintain good professional working relationships with the existing customer base and to develop new customers by closer networking.
· To pro-actively target all business opportunities, and to act as the interface between Otis, its customers and the marketplace.
· Continually seek to increase and improve business opportunities and conversion rates by getting maintenance contracts from competition
· Introduce Sale Pipeline Forecast methodology to improve the quality of the sales effort, identify and target projects earlier, forecast market trends and reduce the “cost of sale”.
· Check and review tenders and submit to customer in the most appropriate manner. Maintain close contact with all submitted tenders and take all necessary steps to secure the order in accordance with company guidelines.
· Create and continually develop a customer list both on and off portfolio. This is to be used to help determine such activities as Account Management, prioritize quantity and quality of effort and input into Monthly Call Plan.
· Use the Sales Pipeline Forecast to assist in securing all projects.
· Submit a monthly loss report to the Manager in order to use as a discussion point to analyze and improve future sales activity.
· On a quarterly basis, as outlined in the Sales Management Practices Binder, complete a number of targeted activities pertinent to securing further business.
