Health and Safety Manager with Quality

Education & professional experience:

· Degree in Engineering or equivalent
· EH&S and Quality Assurance experience within a similar or construction environment
· A proven track record of experience in Quality Management within a Contracting Company preferably as a lead supervisor
· Significant experience of health and safety related activities as per HG 300/2006 art.58
· Knowledge and experience of ISO standards
· Knowledge and experience of appropriate international practice for Health and Safety
· Knowledge of the product safety regulations would be advantageous
· Very good command of English

· Ensure all management systems for health, safety and environment are fully maintained, risks and trends identified and all appropriate action taken.
· Ensure legal compliance with H&S legislation, ensuring appropriate communications with internal HSE and other external bodies.
· Year on Year improvement in accident rate, severity rates and LTI rates.
· Work proactively with the European team in areas of accident management and audits
· Play an active role in the Health and Safety Steering Committee, creating policy and devising the tactical steps required to achieve the Company's targets
· Maintain, and where appropriate improve, accreditation against relevant internal and external audit standards, e.g. ISO14001 and ISO18001 and EH&S Management System
· Develop Health and Wellness KPI's, in line with European EH&S Group
· Train subcontractors and all the members of the company in EH&S matters and ensure they comply with internal standards and enforceable laws
· Perform weekly audits in subcontractors and company employees and report the results in due time
