| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
•Medical degree, and/or Masters of Public Health.
•3-5 years large scale health care program experience.
•Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
•Strong capacity building and facilitation skills.
•Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
•Ability to travel (30%).
•Knowledge of MS Office, Lotus Notes and statistical program (EPI Info)
•Good understanding of World Vision and Sphere relief standards.
•Knowledge of Red Cross and NGO Code of Conduct.
•Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity and physical stamina.
•Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment.
•Ability to maintain performance expectations in diverse cultural contexts, psycho- logically stressful environments and physical hardship conditions with limited resources.

| RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
•Participate in the development of health/nutrition project needs assessments and surveys with designated counterparts (e.g. University of Medical Sciences, Public Health Departments)
•Jointly with partners, develop project-related models and lead the implementation of those models nationally (e.g. - advocacy campaigns) and in the communities (e.g. – behavior change)
•Engage other WVR sectors to ensure the programmatic integration of MCHN and HIV/AIDS at the Zonal Office level;
•Contextualize the health training curricula for WVR staff for specific health related topics (e.g. 7/11 intervention, Behavioral Communication Change – BCC)
•Ensure proper project administration, implementation and financial management;
•Set up a Project data-gathering and monitoring system.
•Manage , coordinate and supervise project staff, consultants and volunteers, as appropriate;
•Manage implementation of the project according to approved objectives, plans of action, budget and record progress, in close cooperation with the Program Manager;
•Report to the Advocacy Director on a regular basis on project progress, problems and implement his recommendations into the work;
•Liaise with partners and donors to ensure effective, transparent project implementation;
•Build buy-in of the project among the WV staff through orientation and sensitization workshops
•Participate in the National Office strategic planning process, specifically through input on Maternal/Child Health and Nutrition (MCHN), and HIV/AIDS;
•Build and maintain strong partnerships with national stakeholders interested to address MCHN issues
•Represent the project and WVR Program (together with Advocacy Director) at all levels as needed, especially on issues of MCHN and HIV/AIDS.
•Advise Advocacy Director on health/nutrition issues.
•Establish and maintain a health/nutrition technical advice, information, and research system.
•Integrate health/nutrition programs with other program sectors.
•Ensure budget conforms to donor requirements.
•Manage and monitor project budget.
•Ensure all health/nutrition projects meet necessary funding requirements.
