Fluent in English both oral and written skills
French also advantageous

Role Complexity

Problem Solving:

Working Relationships

Co-ordinate with Team Lead in Romania and London (daily)
Co-ordinate with IT personnel in France / Switzerland
Co-ordinate with MCOs both IT- and Marketing department
Co-ordinate with members of other departments in London (reporting for example)

External Working Relationships:
Co-ordinate with external supplier

Communication Requirements:

Ability to adapt communications to suit the audience (Business, IT, MCO’s, etc)
Preparation and presentation of DQ in meetings

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

Background:

Orange Romania is part of the France-Telecom (FT) Organization. as a brand exists in nine European countries. For that reason a database for cross-country reporting purposes has been installed. The successful candidate will join an international working environment.


Purpose of Role:

The database as mentioned above is refreshed on a monthly basis and contains all kinds of consumer data. Data Quality (DQ) is essential for such a system and therefore extensive DQ checks are carried out on a monthly basis.

The main purpose of this role will be to validate the content of the data received utilising the existing suite of data quality reports.

The successful candidate will be expected to interpret the results and investigate any issues identified, providing relevant feedback to the MCO with the aim of resolving issues within a reasonable timeframe, whilst taking into consideration the needs of the business. The role will also involve preparing and presenting updates on MCO data in meetings.

The data base system needs will be developed / changed over time. The candidate is involved in identifying new system requirements which need to be discussed and agreed with Group IT department. The candidate will be involved in the testing and validation of the IT development once completed by IT department.


Main Activities:
Perform monthly validation of files received within agreed timeframes
Provide feedback on issues identified including detailed analysis
Actively manage the resolution and redelivery of files
Development of Business Requirements for data base evolution
Development of new data quality report requirements
Integration of countries for updated version of data delivery format & -content
Various ad-hoc analysis performed and presented at meetings to support Business
Support other departments with related topics
Maintain and update documentation according to needs
International travel required – around 6 weeks a year
