ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

-More than 3 years experience of database administration and optimization with Oracle Databases
-Oracle 10g experience is a must
-Oracle 10G RAC on Linux servers – Clusterware, ASM, and RMAN is a must
-Oracle 11g experience is a plus
-Must have strong technical and functional knowledge of SQL.
-Oracle DBA certification highly-preferred
-Excelent knowledge of Query Analyzer and Oracle Enterprise Manager
-Experience with Oracle replication (basic replication & materialized view) is a plus
-Strong communication & presentation skills
-Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work under pressure
-Ability to troubleshoot and reason clearly
-Can-do attitude.

-Database development, maintenance and upgrades
-Logical and physical database design
-Responsible for database backups
-Refine physical design to meet system storage requirements
-Establish user access and security, monitor performance and manage parameters to provide fast query responses to front end users
-Control access permissions, priviledges
-Proposes and implements enhancements that will improve the performance, stability and reliability of the database
-Provide Proactive Monitoring of databases and automation of health check
-Writing PL/SQL packages and reviewing the developer queries
-Evaluate tools and make recommendations to management
-Research, experiment with and recommend new database technologies.
