Software Engineer

STDDR is a very dynamic group in Server Technology Development that is responsible for fixing Server product defects and delivering high quality fixes to customer base in Data Server, Enterprise Manager, Application Server, etc.
Responsibilities:

-Apply proven debugging skills and product internals expertise to diagnose and resolve Oracle Enterprise Manager bugs on production releases.
-Work with cross-functional groups of software engineers, support analysts and customers to resolve software development issues.
-Use trace analysis, source code, and other sophisticated debugging tools to analyze problems and develop solutions to meet customer needs;
-Work closely with the development teams in supporting production releases. Will be responsible for developing code fixes to address product defects and to improve product quality.Will be responsible for owning, sustaining and maintaining codelines or large feature areas for production releases.
-Develop new troubleshooting and diagnostics techniques and tools.
-Write complex technical articles and sample programs for knowledge base to improve supportability.

Qualifications/ Skills required:

-4+ years\' experience in software development BE/BS/MCA/ME/MS in Computer Science or Software Engineering strongly preferred
-Excellent Java development and debugging skills in depth knowledge of J2EE standards and architecture
-Excellent PLSQL skills
-Knowledge of Oracle Database, Oracle Application Server or any System
-Management Software.
-Knowledge of C and Perl desirable.
-Knowledge of any one OS desirable.
-Strong problem solving skills and proven experience in working with large complex software.
-Strong communication and customer service skills.
-Ability to work in a team environment.
